THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM

My mother made it through the surgery yesterday. The doctor seems to think he patched the leak up, although expressed some uncertainty. My mom is in ICU and is critically ill. If she makes it through this...another 3 weeks in the hospital...and if the leak in her bowel is actually patched, the doctor said she will be "profoundly weak." He believes she will survive, however. Her CATSCAN showed a possible tumor on her back, as well. This may have been causing the increased pain when I stayed with her and she thought the mostly raw diet was causing it. The surgeon, yesterday, i believe, is unaware of the possible tumor. That was another doctor who spotted it.

I'm calm and at peace today. IF my mother survives, she'll have a very long recovery ahead of her. The way i feel today is that if she survives, it will be a miracle. I feel very "matter of fact" today and very skeptical. If the surgeon couldn't fix her bowel properly the first time, what makes me think he fixed it the 2nd time. She now has TWO drainage tubes coming from her now (this is where the drainage goes and ends in a bubble which they empty).

My mom is now in ICU "resting comfortably" but she is not conscious from what i understand. She's heavily medicated to get over the trauma of the 2nd surgery and is hooked up to breathing machines to help her breathe through all of the medicine.

Please pray for her survival.

DEAR GOD, PLEASE SEND HEALING ANGELS TO MY MOTHER. LET THEM FLY OVER HER AND HEAL HER BOWEL. XOXO Her daughter, Michelle

Thanks so much for all of your comments and well wishes. So sorry i never respond. But i receive each one and they are so encouraging.

I lost 5 lbs by just eating alittle better yesterday and by taking the Diatomaceous Earth. That's amazing stuff. Highly recommended.

xoxo michelle joy

You are amazing. How do you manage to be so open and share so much with us, especially when going through such trials? It is a truly special quality. Perhaps someday you will write your autobiography or a novel based on your life. I would be honored to share your story with everyone I know.

I am so relieved to know that your mom is stable. I will continue to pray for her and send all of you positive healing vibes.
